This tour starts early in the morning 5:30a.m. so we can be there at sunrise. The short drive to Cerros from Manuel Antonio - Quepos will take approximately 45 minutes, Cerros is a small farm town to the north east of Quepos in the foothills of Fila Chonta. From there on we can birdwatch for as a long as we want along the Claro River through open country, secondary forest and primary forest.
Some birds located there are Blue-throated Goldentail, Fiery-billed Aracary, Lineated Woodpecker, Slaty Spinetail, Silver-throated Tanager, and Brown-billed Scythbill, among a couple of hundreds species.
