I am an Artist and Nature Tour Guide who has been giving tours and studying the Flora and Fauna of the tropics for the last fourteen years. I’ve taken extensive training in a variety of subjects that allow me to offer top rate educational tours.
I moved in the 1998 from Sarapiqui (northeast of Costa Rica) to Manuel Antonio (Central Pacific) and since that time I have been painting the local beuty, giving tours, and cataloguing the flora and fauna of this region.
I have worked as a free lance with a bunch of different tours operators, travel agencies and Wildlife Refuges such Fincas Naturales Wildlife Refuge with who I won a lot of experience helping them developing their trails, and their different nature exhibits including a butterfly farm, frog pond and a reptile garden.
I have also travel around through most of Costa Rica visiting most National Park and Nature Preserves, birding and studying the wildlife. Since birds are one of my favorite groups of animals I have enjoy participating in the OTS (Organization for Tropical Studies) Christmas Bird Counting since 1998: I have build a personal livebird list of over 600 species.
My adeventurist spirit and interest for nature has led me to many of the most remote areas of my country, thanks to that I have learn where to find some the rarest animals and plants and hiding paradisiacal nature attrations.
To develop my tours in the most ethical and professional way, I prefer working with small groups and enthusiastic people, as that affords me to the opportunity to learn and discover as well. I enjoy meeting people from around the world who want to study the fantastic world of nature that surrounds us.
